1. Personal Data and Analytics: Foundations of Energy Storage Safety does not collect, store, or share any personal user data.
We do not require you to create an account with us.
We do not track user progress, lab completion states, or assessment scores.
We do not utilize any third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or crash-reporting tools that gather your IP address or usage behavior.
2. Spatial Data and Mixed Reality: Our application utilizes Mixed Reality (MR) features, including environment scanning and color passthrough, to project electrical equipment and battery racks into your physical room.
Local Processing Only: All spatial data, room meshes, point clouds, and passthrough camera feeds required for these MR features are processed entirely locally on your Meta Quest headset.
No Off-Device Transmission: At no point is any spatial data or camera imagery transmitted off your device, stored on our servers, or shared with third parties.
3. Microphone and Audio Data: Foundations of Energy Storage Safety does not require, request, or utilize access to your device’s microphone. We do not record, collect, or transmit any audio or voice data.
4. Third-Party Services Since our application is completely self-contained and untracked, we do not share any data with third-party vendors or services. Please note that by using the Meta Quest hardware, your use of the device itself is still governed by Meta’s own platform privacy policies.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time if the features of our application change (for example, if we introduce progress tracking in a future update). We will notify users of any changes by updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
